Dr. Stephan Hofstetter manages, a Swiss partner at Kloepfel Consulting, projects to optimize structures and processes in purchasing as well as procurement costs in medium-sized companies within the whole DACH region. Mr. Hofstetter has many years of experience in international consulting and management positions in purchasing and as a lecturer in the training of prospective purchasing managers. Among other things, he was the head of the Swiss branch of A.T. Kearney, just after he already managed projects for clients from various industries in Germany and Spain. With his own consulting company, he held interim mandates in strategic purchasing and procurement logistics for over six years. As a member of the extended group management of Huber+Suhner, he was responsible for purchasing and supply chain management as well as for strategic tasks. For procure.ch, the Swiss professional association for purchasing and supply management, he has been a lecturer for strategic supplier management for several years. He did his doctorate in business administration at the University of St. Gallen.
