Incorrect action in matters of online advertising
Google has been imposed a fine of 1.49 billion euros by the EU competition authorities. The reason for this is the abuse of a dominant position in online advertising. The internet company had prevented competitors from “placing advertisements on these websites” through “restrictive clauses in contracts with third-party websites”, according to the EU Commission today. Google has already stopped this procedure.
